Job description: Are you ready for something new for 2025?My client is looking for a self-motivated and dynamic HR Officer to assist the HR manager in managing and supporting the human resources functions within their organization. The role involves a combination of administrative, operational, and general duties to ensure effective employee management and compliance with labour laws.The focus for this person would be:
- Assist in the effective facilitation of the recruitment process and procedure
- Review, design and change Job Descriptions
- Maintain & Update Title Matrix and ensure they are in line with the BBBEE Strategy
- Assist in the effective facilitation of training, bursary and learnership program
- Management of all disciplinary processes (STRONG IR BACKGROUND IN A UNIONISED ENVIRONMENT)
- Ensuring all bargaining council regulations are applied and all employees registered correctly
- Yearly submissions of EE & WSP reporting
Requirements for this role are:
- NQF Level 4, Grade 12 (National Certificate)
- Valid South African Drivers License (Code 8/10)
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management
- 5 years HR Generalist experience
- Advanced Industrial Relations Knowledge
- Road freight & MIBCO Bargaining Council Knowledge
- Knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and regulations
