This role is integral to our kitchen, where you’ll work closely with our Executive Chef to craft exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will take charge of daily operations, oversee food preparation, ensure high-quality presentation, and support menu innovation that aligns with our brand’s excellence. As a Senior Sous Chef, your responsibilities will include supervising junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards, managing inventory, and maintaining kitchen efficiency. You’ll play a pivotal role in training and mentoring the team, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.What Is Required:A Senior Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency. They manage kitchen staff, coordinate food preparation, and assist in menu development. The role involves maintaining food safety standards, managing inventory, and ensuring kitchen workflows. Leadership, creativity, and a strong focus on quality are essential for this position.Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 or Equivalent
- Must speak, read, write and understand English at a professional level
- Computer literate level 2 minimum experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook in particular)
- Minimum of 2 year’s experience in the same or similar position in a 4/5-star hotel.
- Familiar with all the duties of a hotel kitchen
