Job description: Job Summary Candidate Requirements:
- Travel and Tourism related qualification
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in the travel industry
- Previous TourPlan NX experience is highly advantageous
- Should have excellent understanding of rates, mark up and commission structures
- Good knowledge of Southern and East African regions
- Must be computer literate (MS Office Applications)
- Should be accurate, detail orientated, creative and pro-active
- Must have the ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills and should be able to work well under pressure
- Must have effective communication skills (written and verbal)
Key Outputs:
- Ensuring that Tourplan content is up to date and accurate at all times
- Accurate interpretation of contracts which includes rates, offers, supplier details, commissions, trading terms and conditions into the system
- Quality control of all content loaded in the system by checking the data before consultants use the product loaded in the system
- In-house customer service and support
- Efficiently assisting sales and reservations teams with rates and any Tourplan related queries
