Job Title: Rates Administrator

Job description: Our client in the Hospitality industry is currently looking for a Rates Administrator, in Sandton, Johannesburg.Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that Tour plan content is up to date and accurate at all times, this includes system administration and maintenance of the following:
- Accurate interpretation of the contract which includes rates, offers, supplier details, commissions, trading terms, and conditions into the system.
- Quality control of all content loaded in the system by checking the data before consultants use the product loaded in the system.
- In-house customer service and support.
- Efficiently assisting sales and reservations teams with rates and any Tour plan-related queries for both our lodges and contracted suppliers.
Requirements:
- Travel and Tourism Certificate or qualification in the same industry.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the travel industry preferably with Tour plan NX experience.
- Experience with reading and interpreting contracts in Tour plan NX (an advantage)
- An understanding of rates, markup, and commission structures.
- Good geographical knowledge of Southern and East African regions.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office Applications – Outlook, Office, Excel, Word, etc.
Remuneration:
- R15 000 – R20 000 per month.
