Job description: A well established resturant based in Hazelwood is seeking a Pastry Chef.Duties:Create and develop unique, high-quality pastries and desserts, with a focus on croissants and brownies.
Ensure consistency in taste and presentation of all bakery products.
Experiment with new recipes and refine existing ones to maintain the highest standards.
Oversee daily pastry production and ensure timely delivery to customers.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal menus and special offerings.Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Preferably from the hospitality industry
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Must be willing to work Shift hours
Expected salary: R25000 per month
