As the Junior Maintenance Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the property runs smoothly. Your expertise in various maintenance systems will help keep the lodge in pristine condition, making it a welcoming space for guests.Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair electrical systems, generators, solar, plumbing, air-conditioning, and more.
- Ensure proper functioning of facilities, including refrigerators, gas heating appliances, and pools & jacuzzis.
- Conduct regular property and vehicle maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Train and mentor maintenance assistants to build a strong team.
- Adapt and respond to changes and challenges as they arise.
What are we looking for?
- Experience: At least 2 years in hospitality maintenance (lodges, camps, hotels).
- Qualifications: Diploma in maintenance/trades or equivalent.
- Skills: Proficient in a wide range of maintenance systems and power tools.
- Personal Traits: Hardworking, mature, fit, and physically able with sober habits.
- Communication: Good communication skills to collaborate effectively.
- Driving: MUST have a valid driver’s license, tractor driving, and 4×4 experience.
- Transport: Must have own reliable transport.
