Role Summary:
As an Intermediate Inbound Travel Consultant, you will be the initial point of contact for prospective clients. You will manage the entire travel booking process from the initial inquiry to post-travel feedback. Your in-depth knowledge of Southern Africa destinations and your ability to create tailored itineraries will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling Inbound Inquiries: Manage inbound inquiries through phone, email, and chat, providing prompt and professional responses.
- Consultations: Conduct detailed consultations to understand clients’ travel preferences, needs, and budget.
- Itinerary Design: Design customized itineraries, including accommodation, activities, and transportation.
- Booking Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of the booking process, including flights, transfers, accommodations, and excursions.
- Client Support: Provide pre-departure information, support during travel, and follow up post-trip to ensure client satisfaction.
- Destination Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge about destinations, lodges, and activities to provide accurate and inspiring recommendations.
- Sales: Drive sales by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services and experiences.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to ensure the smooth execution of itineraries and manage any issues that arise.
- Tourplan Experience: Experience with Tourplan is an advantage.
- Attention to Detail: Show good attention to detail and be a team player.
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Inbound FIT Reservations: 2-3 years of experience in Inbound FIT Reservations is non-negotiable.
- Tourism Qualification: A tourism qualification or a similar field of study will be advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and partners.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Customer Service: Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable travel experiences.
- Relationship Management: Having established relationships with international agents (inbound) is critical.
Location: Kloof
Salary: R 21 500 CTC per month
