Job description: Our client in the Hospitality industry is currently looking for a Wedding & Conferencing Administrator, in Muldersdrift, Gauteng.Responsibilities:
- To undertake front-of-house duties, including meeting, greeting, and attending to the needs of guests, to ensure a superb customer service experience.
- To build a good rapport with all guests and resolve any complaints/issues quickly to maintain high-quality customer service.
- To deal with guest requests to ensure a comfortable and unforgettable stay.
- To assist in dealing with customer complaints effectively and courteously, providing or seeking solutions as quickly as possible.
- To be responsible for accurate and efficient accounts and guest billing processes.
- To assist in always keeping the hotel reception area clean and tidy.
- To undertake general office duties, including correspondence, emails, filing, and switchboard, to ensure the smooth running of the reception area.
- To administer all routes of reservations to ensure that room bookings are made and recorded accurately.
- To ensure that all reservations and cancellations are processed efficiently.
- To keep up to date with room prices and special offers to provide accurate information to guests.
- To report any maintenance, breakage, or cleanliness problems to the relevant manager.
- To undertake all training required (first aid, health and safety, customer service).
- To adhere to all fire safety test procedures and to assist in the evacuation process in the event of fire.
Requirements:
- Hotel or Event Management Certificate/Diploma.
- Strong admin skills.
- Computer literate, extensive Excel, word, and various computer programs.
- 2 – 5 years minimum corporate sales experience.
- Computer literate, experience with excel, word, various computer programmes.
- Computer literate with ability to work on programmes such as RDZ, Keap, dine plan.
- Fast pace in terms of typing and completion of tasks and documents.
- Active listening skills to carefully listen to both clients’ needs and the directive of managers.
- Attention to detail of layouts, presentations.
- Ability to work individually and in a team dynamic for both individual and departmental targets.
- Positive and motivated attitude.
- Confident.
- Enthusiastic.
- Responsible and disciplined.
- Time Management Skills.
- Up to date with latest trends – to sell products or services in the best way possible, a salesperson must take time and do some research before starting any sales conversation with customers.

They stay on top of trends to be prepared for any situation that may arise during a sale. They never stop learning new skills or honing themselves as professionals because they know: there’s always room for improvement.

Remuneration:
- R5 000 – R6 000 per month.
