Job description: Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and resolve variances through detailed analysis.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to optimize supply chain processes.
- Lead and motivate warehouse staff, fostering teamwork and accountability.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges, including fault finding and process improvements.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Utilize ERP systems for tracking inventory, generating reports, and ensuring accurate data entry.
- Ensure optimal use of storage space and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist in planning and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role, preferably in the electrical or energy sector.
- Strong experience in inventory management, stock tracking, and resolving discrepancies.
- Proficient in ERP systems with a focus on inventory and reporting functionalities.
- Familiarity with working alongside 3PL providers and managing logistics.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on operational improvements.
- Knowledge of health and safety compliance in warehouse environments.
