The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, as well as maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Matric Certificate
- Diploma/Certificate in warehousing or logistics would be advantageous
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the FMCG food industry
- Experience with cold storage management and distribution
- Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
Computer Skills:
- MS Word
- MS Excel
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, including cold storage management
- Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems and processes
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food safety standards
- Analyze and resolve operational problems, implementing corrective actions as needed
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Manage and control warehouse costs, including labor, equipment, and supplies
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Ensure that all warehouse operations are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures
