Job description: Job SummaryPurpose of the Job:
- Responsible for ensuring that the Welcome Desk/Reception is effectively and efficiently managed at all times to provide members with a positive first impression and maximise member satisfaction.
- Willingness to conduct group exercise classes
Key Performance Areas include:
- Assisting with Club Administration when necessary
- Cash management
- Communication with members and staff
- Managing of Receptionist
- Monitoring of access and overrides for staff and members
- Reception stock control
- Resolving member complaints
- Training of Receptionist
Experience & Competencies Required:
- Ability to motivate staff and lead by example
- Advanced levels of administrative accuracy
- Display friendly and efficient qualities that reflect the Planet Fitness way
- Display uncompromising levels of honesty and integrity
- Have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise at all levels
- Intermediate PC skills
- Must be able to work shifts
- Possess high level energy levels
- Previous experience within a front desk or welcome desk position added advantage
- Proven track record in managing staff, planning, organising, conflict handling and problem solving
- Have reliable transport
