Job description: RETAIL-ORIENTATED SOMATOLOGISTCENTURY CITY – Cape Town Western-Cape (South Africa)START: A.S.A.P / March 2025TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:
- Monday – Sunday
- SHIFTS 09:00am – 18:00pm | 10:00am – 19:00pm | 11:00am – 20:00pm | 12:00pm – 21:00pm
- RETAIL HOURS – Must be flexible to work shifts, weekends and all major holidays
REPORTS TO: Manager / OwnerEMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full time / PermanentSALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:
- R8,000 – R10,000 Basic Salary per month (Based on desired qualification & skills)
- Commission (Retail)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC or internationally recognized accreditation
- DIPLOMA Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology (2-year Diploma)
- BONUS – Dermal Aesthetics (not minimum requirement but nice to have!)
- Beautifully groomed, manicured and presentable
- Confident and knowledgeable on advanced skin care and ingredients
- Confident retailer! This position is all about educating the clients on their skin regime and prescribing the relevant home care / retail advise
EXPERIENCE: * At least 2+ Years experience as a Skin Care Therapist
- high-end salon employment experince
- Cruise Ship is highly favourable
- Retail experience is essential
- Experience working with active ingredients
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: * Confident performing a detailed skin analysis
- Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care
- Retail confident – this is VERY important!
- Strong team dynamic – able to work in a team with team-player mentality
- Sales driven, career motivated and eager to advance yourself
- Promote the store, the brands and the new industry trends
Expected salary: R8000 – 10000 per month
