Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM (Excluding Public Holidays and Weekends)Job Overview:Our client in the FMCG Industry is seeking a Qualified Electrician to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This position requires a skilled professional who is certified to work with 3-phase power systems and can ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical installations. The role is based in Ladybrand, Free state and offers a competitive salary package including allowances.Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair 3-phase electrical systems.
- Conduct electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Interpret electrical drawings and schematics for installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete electrical projects efficiently.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Electrical Trade Certificate (Must be qualified to work on 3-phase power systems).
- Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in industrial or commercial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuit troubleshooting.
- Good physical health to meet job demands.
- No criminal record (Background checks will be conducted).
Additional Information:
- This is an initial 6-month contract; potential for extension based on performance.
- We are not offering a permanent contract at the start the candidates performance will be assessed before considering long-term employment.
