Job description: Job SummaryYour Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement health and safety policies on-site.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Carry out regular site inspections and audits, reporting findings and recommending improvements.
- Develop and deliver health and safety training for employees and contractors.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, documenting reports and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate health and safety records and documentation.
- Work closely with project managers, contractors, and site personnel to ensure safety compliance.
- Promote a positive safety culture, encouraging best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk assessment, and accident prevention.
- Experience in construction, engineering, or industrial site safety is preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to enforce safety policies effectively.
- Ability to train and educate teams on health and safety best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report-writing skills.
- A valid driving license is an advantage.
