- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within the digital PR industry.
- Solid experience working in UK markets, particularly in newsjacking and campaign creation.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Creative Writing).
- In-depth knowledge of the SEO sector and the vital role of digital PR in driving SEO results.
- Hands-on experience with PR tools and software, including Google Trends, Google Glimps, AHREFS, Semrush, Moz, and MuckRack.
- A strong understanding of the media landscape and a passion for staying informed across various industries.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.
Responsibilities of the Digital PR Executive:
- Writing and drafting PR content, including reactive and proactive commentary, press releases, features, and thought leadership articles.
- Using data to create compelling, engaging, and newsworthy stories.
- Achieving client KPIs through creative PR strategies.
- Liaising with clients, journalists, and internal team members to drive results.
- Identifying PR opportunities to create link-building and coverage for clients.
- Brainstorming creative PR campaign ideas and contributing to ideation sessions.
- Building and maintaining media outreach lists using PR software for outreach.
- Monitoring the media landscape and news cycle to pitch relevant ideas to clients.
