Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure shift handover report is completed timeously;
- Receive communication from motorists, route inspectors and/or emergency services on accidents, collisions, damaged road furniture, environmental hazards and/or adverse road weather conditions;
- Relay of such information to the relevant authorities or contractor and follow up whether the necessary actions were taken by the above in order to ensure safe road conditions exist again;
- Documentation of the above in the occurrence book and on computer;
- Assist Route Services Supervisor with day-to-day administration duties and reports;
- SOS administration and recording of occurrences, low battery, etc;
- Dispatching of Route Patrollers to reported / detected incidents;
- Identifying fault equipment within the Comms Office and reporting them;
- Log all reported complains and compliments;
- Plaza CCTV Cameras monitoring;
- RIMS WhatsApp messages monitoring, acknowledging incident and give back Situation Report of the incident;
- Provide road users with alternative route when necessary;
- Provide road users with requested traffic information;
- Acknowledge by signing for all Plaza paperwork delivered by Patrol drivers;
- Constant monitoring of Traffic maps to detect and congestions and incidents;
- Liaising with Plaza’s during major crashes, protest, road closure, crashes at the Plaza.
- Receive all relevant documents from the Plazas.
- Validate these documents as per the Contractual Obligations and Company Policies and Procedures.
- Validate these documents as per Plazas and tasks allocated on a daily basis.
- Ensure quality and quantity of all validations done comply with internal and external demands.
- Report Exception Validation Anomalies to the Supervisor immediately and in the prescribed manner.
- Ensure that there are no Zero Amounts for all fields per Worksheet, and report such amounts immediately to the Supervisor.
- Performs Banking Validation Tasks allocated.
- Comply with Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Perform overtime and call out duties as and when required.
- Assist the Validation Supervisor with the planning and to provide the roll-up schedule to the IT manager before the 2nd of each month, 2 months in advance.
- Assist the Validation Supervisor with daily timeous close roll-up.
- Perform pre-day close checks and ensure no anomalies is present.
