- BCom Accounting (Complete or final year)
Skills:
- Advanced Excel
- Xero
- SARS Efiling
- Previous VAT administration or Tax compliance experience highly beneficial
Job description:
- Prepare and submit VAT returns to SARS on time.
- Maintain accurate VAT records and ensure proper documentation for audit purposes.
- Review VAT transactions to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist with VAT reconciliation, reporting, and compliance audits.
- Monitor VAT exemptions, refunds, and related matters.
- Communicate with internal departments, clients and SARS to gather necessary information regarding VAT filings.
- Stay abreast with VAT legislation and regulations.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients
