Job description: Job SummaryA niche accounting and taxation consulting firm in Stellenbosch is offering CIMA and SAIPA training contracts to ambitious and talented new finance graduates. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to gain experience in the accounting world, but also other related fields as this business also offers cost accounting, taxation, M&A, and various other business services.The ideal candidate must have completed or be in the process of completing an accredited finance or accounting qualification and committed to a training contract. This is an excellent opportunity to learn, grow and gain exposure to an array of related business services.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce client reports.
- Perform accounting work.
- Administrative duties.
- Full bookkeeping and accounting function up to trial balance, including debtors, creditors, bank, petty cash, journals, etc.
- Handling of VAT and PAYE reviews.
- Invoicing and debtors’ collection.
- IRP5 calculations, reconciliations and submissions.
- Liaison with clients.
- Maintenance of SARS accounts.
- PAYE/UIF/SDL calculations and EMP201 submissions.
- Registration and deregistration for Income Tax, PAYE, VAT and Import and Export licenses.
- Tax clearance applications.
- UIF registration and administration.
- VAT calculations and VAT201 submissions.
- WCA registrations, submission of returns and arranging letters of good standing.
Qualifications and experience:
- BAccounting, BCom Accounting, BCom Management Accounting, BCom Financial Accounting, or equivalent.
- CIMA qualification in progress.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Driver’s license and own transport.
Remuneration:
- Market related.
