Our client, a well-established and family-oriented accounting firm in Knysna, is looking for a Tax Accountant to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with strong tax and accounting skills who can assist with tax calculations and return preparations.What You’ll Do:
- Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts
- Assist with tax calculations and reconciliations
- Compile and submit VAT and EMP201 returns
- Handle SARS objections, disputes, and verifications
- Apply for Tax Clearances and manage SARS follow-ups
- Work closely with clients to resolve tax-related queries
What You’ll Need:
- Matric certification
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
- A financial background (advantageous)
- Experience in tax preparation and accounting (preferred)
- Relevant accounting or tax qualification (advantageous)
- Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a team
