Their offices are based in Gardens, Cape Town.The company was established in October 2018 and is a young, vibrant company with owner involvement. They sell its own bespoke range of products which include edibles, growing mediums, vapes, CBD products, and more. The sales representative position will be responsible for initializing new sales, managing sales pipelines, building relationships with existing customers and increasing their market share within the FMCG industry. They will be required to work closely, but not exclusively, with the distributors, promoting sales of their trusted products. In addition, they will need to establish new customers and expand the existing market share.Duties:
- Visit Resellers in and around Cape Town
- Collect product feedback
- Build long-lasting relationships
- Manage in-store display designs
- Manage tastings and events
- Sell new products
- Manage order sheets
- Create content for loyal resellers
- Make note of new and potential resellers
- Find new customers
- Keep in constant contact with resellers
- Continual upskilling/training re sales
Responsibilities:
– Strong product knowledge to generate leads in order to achieve and close sales
– Promote, present and sell our products to new and existing customers
– Reach out to potential customers through cold calling and physical visits
– Establish a solid working relationship with our distributors, promoting sales and increasing product awareness via this channel
– Achieve agreed upon sales targets
– Stay abreast of market and competitor trends and changes
– Manage territory, providing sales updates to other team members and managementSkills:
– Ability to work independently and manage own time
– Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers and making a sale
– Communication skills
– Sense of ownership and pride in your performance
