Job description: Effectively maintain the plant on all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as providing innovative solutions to challenges and doing upgrades to equipment in order to improve efficiency.Ideally Trade Tested Millwright or Fitter and TurnerN3 Technical qualification in Electrical or MechanicalFitting and TurningMin 2 years post Trade TestCode 10 (or higher) drivers license
- ORHVS qualification;
- ORHVS approval from Eskom;
- Fire training;
- Safety training;
- Working on heights;
- Scaffolding erection.
- Blasting training
- Week end duty training
- First aid level 2
- Responsible for Health and Safety on factory premises.
- Ensuring OSH documentation is up to date
- Conducting weekly/monthly safety talks
- Ensuring staff complies with PPE regulations
- Monthly safety inspection
- Daily equipment inspection
- Equipment assessments
- Construction of Brilliant Blaster
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and standards are kept up to date
- Ensure production process is efficient
- Quality control
- Assist with planning of project
- Ensure project timelines are met
- Daily feedback on tasks
- Ensure breakdown job cards are completed
- Completing of preventative maintenance job cards
- Develop and monitor 5s system
