Job description: We are looking for a Group Financial Controller in the Port Elizabeth area.Educational & Training Requirements:
- B.Com Finance qualification
- CA SA advantageous
Experience Required:
- A minimum of 5 years as a Financial Manager or Controller.
- Above average computer skills.
Job Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts.
- Fully responsible for annual and interim external audit and sign off on Annual financial statements.
- Company tax matters in consultation with tax consultants.
- Responsible appointee with SARS for all group companies. Group responsibility for all SARS related returns.
- Internal control review and maintenance.
- Preparation of divisional budgets & forecasts.
- Consolidation of group budgets and updated forecasts.
- Ensure group financial compliance.
- Cash Flow management.
- Working Capital Management.
- Financial oversight of Debtors, Creditors, Cash Book and Payroll departments.
- Oversight of Insurance declarations and claims.
- Fixed Asset Register updates & Capex control.
- Government statistics updates / requirements.
