Job description: The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for four (4) suitably qualified individuals to facilitate and implement the Club Development Programme in the various districts of the Western Cape. These posts are based in Cape Town, West Coast, Eden and Cape Winelands.
Minimum RequirementsGrade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent) or higher qualification; A minimum of 3 years experience in sport administration and club development; A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence.NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.

Key Performance AreasStakeholder Engagement and coordination in the club development programme; Coordination, monitoring and administration of club development reports; Regulation, facilitation and coordination of goods and services for clubs Financial management and oversight for clubs.
CompetenciesKnowledge of the following: Club development programme; National sport and recreation plan; Sport clubs, federations, sport councils and local municipalities; Procurement; Event/project management; Skills needed: Written and verbal communication; Proven computer literacy; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
RemunerationR 216 417 per annum plus 37% in lieu of benefits (Salary Level 5)Note on remuneration: Service benefits or obligations for qualifying employees (medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
