A leading manufacturing company is looking for an Accountant to join their vibrant finance team.As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
- Creditors, including preparing reconciliations (assisting in full function)
- Debtors, including processing invoices and then performing the recovery monthly invoices (assisting with full function)
- Month End processes
- Full control of Fixed Assets
- Year-end audit and preparation of the audit file
- Costing and control
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Calculation of depreciation
- Managing provisions and accruals
- Processing Journals (including Payroll related journals)
- Preparing of payments lists and requisitions
- Income tax and vat submission (communication with the SARS to resolve any tax complication)
- Ad hoc duties
Qualifications:
Completed Finance degree
Completed SAIPA articlesExperience:
Minimum 1 – 2 years’ experience
