A leading manufacturing company is seeking an Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
- Manage creditors, including preparing reconciliations and assisting with the full function.
- Handle debtors, including processing invoices and managing the monthly recovery of outstanding amounts (assisting with the full function).
- Oversee month-end processes.
- Take full control of fixed assets management.
- Prepare for the year-end audit and compile the audit file.
- Handle costing and cost control.
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Calculate depreciation.
- Manage provisions and accruals.
- Process journals, including payroll-related entries.
- Prepare payment lists and requisitions.
- Submit income tax and VAT returns, including liaising with SARS to resolve any tax issues.
- Perform ad hoc duties as required.
Qualifications:
Completed Finance degree
Completed SAIPA / SAICA articlesExperience:
