Job description: SUMMARY:A highly renowned Aerospace company is looking for an exceptional and passionate individual to join their dynamic Team as a Senior Production Technician
R600 000 PA | On Site | Somerset West | PermPOSITION INFO:Roles and Responsibilities * Technical Leadership:
- Take a senior role in the assembly, testing, design, development, and verification of systems, subsystems, testers, and associated hardware/software.
- Ensure the proper implementation, functionality, and maintenance of prototyping and assembly facilities, including tooling, spares, and stock infrastructure.
- Process and Quality Management:
- Maintain company processes in alignment with ISO 9001, AS9100, and other quality standards.
- Manage stores and stock to ensure proper organization and compliance with relevant standards.
- Perform incoming inspections of components, verifying quality, authenticity, and documentation in the ERP system.
- Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with the Quality Manager to perform quality inspections on electronic and mechanical components to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
- Project Outputs:
- Contribute to the generation of project deliverables, including design, testing, documentation, and verification artefacts.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform support roles and other tasks as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: B-Tech Degree or Advanced Diploma in Electrical and Electronic
. * Experience: 4–5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Knowledge: Proficiency with electronic components, PCBs, and soldering.
Recommended Skills and Experience
- Electronic production.
- Electromechanical integration.
- Electronic testing and integration testing.
- Product qualification and stress testing.
- Procurement processes related to production.
