Job description: We are assisting our client in a mass recruitment drive for general workers and drivers.
General Worker Responsibilities include:Pick and Pack orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
Keep a clean and safe working environment.
Report any stock discrepancies.
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.General Worker Requirements:Experience as a Warehouse Worker.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects.
Current forklift licence and advantage.
Minimum Grade 9 High school diploma or equivalent.Driver Requirements:A current Code 10 license with PDP.
At least 2 years experience.
An excellent driving record.
Good geographical knowledge.
A strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines.
Customer and safety focussed.Driver Responsibilities:Deliver goods to customers in a safe and timely manner.
Record deliveries.
Refuel and clean vehicle.
Report road incidents to the supervisor.
Keep an activities log and log hours.
Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.
Plan routes using GPS system.
Maintain a good relationship with customers.Remuneration
