As a Financial Accountant at Network Recruitment, you will play a crucial role in managing financial functions across multiple regions and integrating various ERP systems. Key Responsibilities
You will be a vital member of our team, taking on several critical responsibilities, including:
- Managing daily cash transactions – Supervising day-to-day cash flow activities to ensure financial stability.
- Overseeing general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable – Ensuring that all entries are accurately recorded and reconciled.
- Conducting balance sheet reconciliations – Performing regular audits to verify the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements.
- Ensuring the accuracy of VAT submissions to SARS – Compiling and reviewing VAT documentation to ensure compliance with local tax laws.
- Reviewing invoice allocations and VAT treatment – Ensuring proper categorization and VAT classifications for all transactions.
- Verifying accounts payable batches before payments – Validating entries and approvals to maintain financial accuracy.
- Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts – Creating detailed financial reports and business review presentations to inform strategic decisions.
- Supporting various stakeholders – Assisting internal and external parties with financial information and insights.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements – Staying updated with financial laws and guidelines to maintain compliance.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who possess a combination of formal education and practical experience. Specific qualifications include:
- Newly qualified CA(SA) or
- BCom with SAICA or SAIPA articles
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- 2 to 3 years of commercial experience – Practical experience in financial management within a commercial setting.
- Strong analytical skills – Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and generate strategic insights.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving – Initiative and creativity in addressing financial challenges.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment – Managing multiple tasks with precision and attention to detail.

Compensation
- Expected Salary: R500,000 – 550,000 per year
