Job description: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper in Bloemfontein to join their growing team. - Matric
- 3 – 5 years of experience as a Bookkeeper (handling financial records up to trial balance)
- Fluent in Afrikaans
- Basic knowledge of IT related concepts (understanding of what is a hard drive), to assist with stock management systems
- Computer literate
- Proficiency in Xero Accounting, will be an advantage
- Bookkeeping up to trial balance
Skill required:
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Accuracy
Duties and responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping up to trial balance
- Full bookkeeping function for the company
- Manage debtors, creditors, stock, bank reconciliations, payroll reconciliations, general ledger and trial balance
- VAT submissions and compliance
- Handle bookkeeping for company and possible other associated companies, depending on the candidate’s skills set
- Assist with general administrative responsibilities within the company
Remuneration:
- R 10 000 – R 17 000 Cost To Company – depending on skills and experience
- 30 calendar days of leave per year
