Job description: Hire Resolve’s client is looking for a highly capable and experienced individual to join their team as a Stores/Warehouse Manager in the Beverage Manufacturing industry in the Eastern Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics within the manufacturing sector.Responsibilities:
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the stores department in line with FSSC 22000 requirements.
- Ensure the stores department are clean, and organized, with raw material displayed according to company guidelines.
- Ensure and maintain accurate raw material inventory levels by conducting regular cycle
counts and reconcile with the inventory management system. * Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to inventory, deliveries, or storeoperations. * Oversee the factory warehouse operations including the receiving of finish goods fromproduction and the distribution of finished goods to the distribution centre, in compliance
with FSSC 22000 requirements. * Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance the factory warehouseoperations and productivity. * Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all documentation meetsinternal and external audit requirements. * Train stores and factory warehouse staff on the importance of accurate record-keeping anddocument control in relation to food safety * Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide feedback to stores and factorywarehouse staff on their performance. * Manage staffing levels to meet operational requirements, including hiring and training newemployees. * Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issuesthat arise.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 or more years’ experience in warehousing and inventory management, preferably in a FMCG environment.
- In-depth understanding of FMCG industry requirements for stores, warehousing, and distribution processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Strong knowledge of FSSC standards and requirements and the ability to ensure compliance in all areas of responsibility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments.
- Ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to make informed decisions quickly and effectively.
- Adaptability to changes in the FMCG environment and ability to manage multiple priorities.
