Job description: Job Summary
Compile and balance monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Verify and authorize payments
Prepare and manage the monthly management accounting pack
Review and manage monthly creditor reconciliations
Post and review journals prepared by bookkeepers, debtors, and creditors clerks
Oversee monthly cash flow requirements and submissions of loan applications
Submit CAPEX applications for values over R100k with financial justifications
Maintain and manage the fixed asset register
Lead and mentor a team of accountantsSkills & Experience:
SAICA or SAIPA Articles complete + at least 1 year of commercial experience
Retail / FMCG experience is highly recommended
Leadership experience is non-negotiableQualification:
BCom Degree or equivalent in accounting
