Job description: **Job Title: Junior Associate, Final Mile Operations****Daily Responsibilities****Operational Coordination & Execution**– Assist in the coordination of daily operations, addressing store support inquiries, tracking orders, and ensuring timely product deliveries.– Review and organize incoming delivery requests, preparing reports and updates to meet operational targets.**Performance Tracking & Reporting**– Monitor daily performance metrics, including delivery accuracy, timing, and customer satisfaction levels, and communicate findings to the Final Mile Manager.– Collect data on key performance indicators (KPIs) for ongoing analysis to facilitate real-time adjustments aimed at enhancing operational performance.**Communication & Issue Resolution**– Act as a point of contact for stakeholders and the fulfillment team, providing troubleshooting support for any issues that may arise during deliveries to ensure seamless operations.– Escalate issues to the Final Mile Manager as necessary and collaborate with other teams to devise immediate solutions.**Process Support & Improvement**– Collaborate closely with the Final Mile Manager to implement process improvements designed to enhance delivery speed, reduce costs, and maintain quality standards.– Assist in updating and refining operational procedures to optimize workflow with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to service levels.**Documentation & Compliance**– Maintain accurate records of daily transactions, route data, and delivery outcomes, ensuring all documentation and reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner.– Ensure that final mile operations comply with company policies, safety regulations, and service-level agreements (SLAs).**Skills Required:**– Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.– An analytical mindset, with experience in data collection and reporting preferred.– Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities for effective collaboration across teams and support of operational continuity.– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with logistics software is an advantage.Candidates must meet the following requirements:– Completed Grade 12/Matric– Willingness to work extended hours to complete tasks– Ability to work independently– Preferably possesses Last Mile Delivery experience– At least has experience in logistics or transportation– Proficiency in Microsoft applications– Ideally has experience in Last Mile Delivery
Expected salary: R30000 – 35000 per month
