The main focus of the managers job function is to improve the commercial performance of sales by increasing its turnover and maximizing profitability. Achieving performance objectives which will require action in the areas of customer care, regional marketing, sales and administrationRequirements:Grade 12Sales, Marketing / Managing QualificationsPrevious IT Industry experience essential3-5 Years Sales Managing experienceComputer LiterateMust be out going, be-able to sell & close dealsValid License and Own TransportDuties:Managing and motivating the sales team to increase sales and ensure efficiencyEnsuring each sales person has a target that should be intrinsically linked to the Group overall sales targetAnalyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profitsAnalyzing and interpreting local and regional trends to facilitate planningUsing information technology to record sales figures and for data analysis and forward planningDealing with sales staffing issues: conducting appraisals and performance reviews and providing or organizing training & developmentEnsuring the sales team and all other relevant staff receive on-going training program with current and new productsEnsuring standards for quality, customer service, health and safety are metResponding to customer complaints on sales, quality, market trends and commentsOrganizing special promotions, display and eventsArranging staff meetings weekly or as and when requiredUpdating colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issuesTouring the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying or resolving urgent issuesMaintaining awareness of market trends in the industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives, and monitoring what local competitors are doingAny other duties related to your branch from time to time as instructed by the Managing Director or his representativeApplication Instruction:
