Job description: Job SummaryOverviewMy client a Furniture Retail and interior business requires a Furniture Salesperson to join their team in Polokwane. This company is home to one of South Africa’s most exclusive fabric and furniture collections. The Company’s furniture and interior items are complemented by a professional interior design team with a range of services that include, interior design, upholstery services, furniture design, custom made curtains and expert advice.Key Requirements:
- Matric essential
- Tertiary diploma or similar in Sales will get preference
- Current and valid South African driver’s Licence
- Passion for designer furniture
- Proven furniture sales experience (at least 5+ years Sales experience)
- Excellent negotiation, selling and deal closing skills including problem solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience with interior decorating would be an advantage
Key Competencies:
- Improve overall profitability of the company by reaching and exceeding monthly sales targets
- Establish, develop and maintain relationships with existing client base to optimise sales
