Job description: Job Summary Floor Manager (JB4813) Johannesburg, Gauteng R20 000 to R30 000 CTC per month (negotiable based on experience) Permanent An established hardware store in Johannesburg is seeking a dynamic and mature individual to join their team. This role offers significant growth potential, with the opportunity to transition into a Store Manager position. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and people management skills, overseeing the store floor and driving performance while preparing for greater responsibilities within the company. Minimum Requirements: Matric Valid driver’s license Proven experience in managing a team Previous experience in hardware environments required Ability to manage day-to-day operations, handle pressure, and meet performance targets. Strong communication and organizational skills A self-starter with a drive to take ownership of store operations and work toward broader business objectives. Familiarity with stock management, in-store marketing, customer service, and staff training processes. Basic labour law knowledge regarding leave Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations on the store floor, ensuring smooth management of staff and customer interactions. Manage and lead a team of employees, fostering a productive and positive work environment. Monitor and maintain store performance, driving sales, managing stock levels, and optimizing operational efficiency. Collaborate with store management to ensure the store meets performance target.
Expected salary: R20000 per month
