Requirements
- Education: Matric Qualification (Grade 12) is required.
- Experience: Experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector is beneficial but not obligatory.
- Driving License: Candidates must possess a valid Code 10 driver’s license.
- Location: Must reside in Kimberley or within a 30km radius to be considered.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to uphold visual merchandising standards.
- Physical stamina for tasks such as merchandising and traveling.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and business ethics.
Key Responsibilities

Merchandising & Store Support
- Ensure that allocated store spaces are consistently well-stocked, attractively merchandised, and meticulously maintained.
- Execute merchandising plans by displaying products according to company standards to promote customer engagement.

Product Knowledge
- Maintain a deep understanding of the product lines, including best sellers and slower-moving items.
- Provide insights on stock levels, addressing issues of overstocking or understocking to management.

Collaboration with Sales Team
- Partner closely with sales representatives to optimize the use of space, enhance product placement, and boost sales performance across all assigned stores.
- Contribute efforts to meet or surpass monthly sales and performance objectives.

Store Visits & Reporting
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure product displays are accurate and up to standard.
- Capture and submit photographs of product displays before and after merchandising activities.
- Provide daily call reports and communicate findings and store performance to the head office.

Physical & Administrative Tasks
- Execute physical merchandising tasks, such as stocking shelves and setting up displays, to maintain the cleanliness and order of designated areas.
- Propose suggestions weekly for improving current merchandising kits and processes.

Inventory & Shelf Management
- Maximize shelf space usage by organizing products effectively, reducing backup stock and product returns.
- Ensure that stores adhere to the recommended product mix to drive maximum sales.

Vehicle Management (If applicable)
- If assigned a company vehicle, strictly follow company vehicle policies and protocols.
- Perform regular vehicle inspections, report mileage timely to the fleet manager, and promptly address any maintenance issues.

Customer Interaction & Feedback
- when interacting with customers, maintain a professional demeanor, assist with their inquiries, and ensure overall customer satisfaction.
- Immediately report any customer complaints or issues to the sales manager for swift resolution.
- Compliance & Safety
- Document and report all work-related accidents or incidents promptly for insurance purposes.
- Conform to prescribed uniform requirements and adhere to all company policies and procedures diligently.
