Job description: Job Summary Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the production workflow.
- Assess and determine resources, equipment, and materials required for efficient production.
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports to track project progress.
- Collaborate with quality control, stores, and production teams.
- Initiate procurement and manufacturing processes in accordance with approved procedures.
- Conduct electrical planning as required.
Candidate Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management (preferred but not required).
Experience:
- 5+ years in production planning, preferably within the aerospace industry.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and ERP systems, ideally EPICOR or SAP (preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of production planning principles and quality control.
- Experience working with Engineering Bills of Material (EBOM) and Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOM).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must have own transport.
Non-Negotiable Skills:
- Advanced experience with MRP systems.
- Knowledge of quality control and production planning principles.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings and the ability to create MBOMs from EBOMs.
