Job Purpose:

We are seeking an individual with a technical background in electronic security products, electrical, or similar industries to lead the expansion of our Business Development (BD) portfolio. This role is critical in driving customer engagement, fostering robust client relationships, and achieving ambitious sales targets. Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Sales & Business Development: Drive business growth by actively identifying new business opportunities and creating innovative strategies to capture emerging market trends.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, enhancing their experience and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify potential clients and understand competitive landscapes. Utilize insights to develop tailored business development plans.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans that align with company goals. Evaluate performance metrics to track progress and refine strategies as necessary.
- Presentation & Communication: Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients. Articulate technical specifications in a manner that highlights product advantages.
- Negotiation & Networking: Utilize superior negotiation skills to finalize deals. Establish a broad network of contacts to open doors for new business ventures.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of our product suite and stay up-to-date with advancements in the electronic security and electrical industry.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure cohesive efforts in achieving business objectives.

Academic Qualification:
- Matric is essential.
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is advantageous.

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a technical sales role within the electronic security, electrical, or office automation industry.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in sales, business development, and client relationship management.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and networking abilities.
- Fluency in English and Afrikaans is essential.
- High level of research and strategic planning acumen.

- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable own transport.
