Job description: Job Summary Our client in the Engineering Industry is looking to hire a Sales Engineer.Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, organize and implement an effective sales function to achieve company and personal targets, aligned with company sales policies and strategies
- Proactive and consistent targeted sales calls and visits to existing and new customers
- Gather information on market sector, including surveys and research
- Grow business and market share in product and service
- Market intelligence on competition
- Develop new markets
- Develop strong relationships with clients to discuss their changing needs and assess the quality of our relationship with them
- Assist with marketing campaigns
- Client needs and wants feedback/survey
- Sales support to our distribution partners
- Work with the senior management team to set revenue and sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis
- Work with senior management to further develop the Sales function and to establish appropriate KPIs.
QUALIFICATION
- B.Eng. / B.Sc. (Preferred)
- Technical / Sales Qualification.
- At least 3 years’ experience in Technical Sales or Engineering.
- A successful track record of closing deals and growing sales volumes, relating to technical commodities.
