Job description: Minimum Requirements:
- 5 to 6 years of proven experience in a similar role within the mining industry.
- Civil Engineering qualification is essential.
- Extensive underground mining project experience is a must.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, including scope, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients and all stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on all project sites.
