Job description: Job Summary Production SupervisorConcrete related construction productsOur client, manufacturing of concrete related construction products, is looking for an experienced and motivated PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR to join their team in Polokwane.Should you meet the above requirements, please email your CV to hilda@aaaa.co.za with copy of ID, qualifications and latest payslipResponsibilities:
- Oversee labour and record absenteeism.
- Issues safety materials daily.
- Records all production figures accurately for make and stack.
- Ensures absentees are covered in all jobs.
- Ensures labour use lock out system ( LOTOTO ) when conducting change overs or work stoppages.
- Ensures compliance with company’s good housekeeping practice and provides equipment to keep plant clean.
- Ensures down time is clean up time
- Ensures compliance with the company safety rules as well as the OHS Act.
- Carry out any task not stipulated when requested to do so.
- Must be computer literate and able to work with SAGE.
- Ensures reduction of non-essential overtime.
- Coordinates plant profile change over
- Must be well experienced in most tasks.
Requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary degree / diploma
- Must be from a manufacturing environment
- EE candidates
- Must reside in Polokwane or close proximity
