Job description: Job Summary Minimum Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification – Degree / Diploma
- Refrigeration experience essential
- 5 – 6 Years’ management experience (ideally with a background working with sheet metal)
- Previous exposure to a production environment would be advantageous
- Proficient on MS Office Suite
Responsibilities:
- Determine, monitor, and track production around efficiency, effectiveness, and quality
- Engage and co-ordinate with other Managers across the Company
- Report back to senior management on productivity
- Ensure order fulfilment
- Non-conformance and incident management
- Monitor and review manufacturing operations and processes to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Communicate goals and key performance indicators to direct reports
- Recruitment and selection
- Monitor employee absences, and address and resolve patterns and abuse
- Employee development
- Counselling, disciplinary action, grievances, and conflict resolution
- Ensure all equipment and machines are maintained and serviced to specification
- Plan and order material in accordance with production requirements
- Develop and improve processes and procedures
- Promote and maintain awareness and compliance of health and safety in accordance with Company policy
- Quality control of all products
