As a Principal Automation Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement robotic process automation (RPA) solutions to streamline business operations. Working closely with business process owners and key stakeholders, you will identify automation opportunities, translate requirements into actionable workflows, and lead the operationalisation of RPA projects. Your role will be pivotal in driving the organisation’s digital transformation strategy.Why Join Them?

Key Responsibilities
- Analyse current business processes in collaboration with business process owners and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.
- Translate business requirements and process designs into automation-ready workflows.
- Collaborate with business architects and process owners to develop automated solutions.
- Plan, prioritise, and oversee testing and operationalisation of automation solutions.
Requirements
- A relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
- UiPath automation certification.
- 3-5 years’ experience with software development life cycle and RPA technologies (preferably UiPath), including process reengineering and business process analysis.
- 2 years’ experience in complex RPA and automation development.
- 2-4 years of professional programming experience, including scripting, SQL, relational databases, JavaScript, and .Net.
- Workflow-based solution architecture and development.
- Proficiency in database query languages and object-oriented programming.
- Expertise in process reengineering and business process analysis.
- Experience with RPA software (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, WorkFusion).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to engage stakeholders and clients.
- Familiarity with web development technologies (preferred).
- Project and change management skills, including UAT management.
Expected salary: R65000 – 85000 per year
