Job description: Maintenance ElectricianAre you a skilled Maintenance Electrician looking to make an impact in a fast-paced production environment? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team and keep our plant running efficiently!Key Requirements:
- Trade Test qualification as an Electrician.
- N3 certification in electronic trade theory.
- Basic training in AC & DC variable speed drives.
- Basic knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Strong understanding of electricity and electronic equipment.
- Proficiency with tools used in the manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of power reticulation and process equipment
- knowledge of power distribution and process equipment, with expertise in handling voltages ranging from 12V to 11kV.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on a rotating shift roster, as required.
- Quickly respond to production plant breakdowns and complete necessary repairs in minimal time.
- Repair motors, control equipment, and other electrical components.
- Accurately document all work on job cards or planned maintenance schedules.
- Report serious issues or unresolved defects to the Electrical Section Engineer.
- Execute planned maintenance schedules and conduct safety inspections on equipment.
- Assist with equipment installation, modifications, and any other reasonable requests from the Electrical Section Engineer.
