Job description: We currently have an exciting opportunity for a IT Technicianto join our client’s team. The IT Technician is responsible for providing field-based support to customers, working in collaboration with senior engineering team members, helpdesk and the logistics team to resolve customer technical issues promptly and in line with agreed SLA’s.Key responsibilities include:Installing/commissioning and troubleshooting products and equipment
Performing preventative maintenance
Installing approved software updates
Providing technical support in line with agreed SLA’s
Effectively training customers in the correct use of products and systems
An effective response to service calls as required
Actively participating in the standby roster to provide after-hours and weekend support in line with customer requirements.Requirements:A recognised Technical IT qualification
Current drivers licence
2 plus years experience in a field technical role handling complex technical issues
Ability to work independently and meet established deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven problem solving and analytical skills
