Job description: Job Description:We are seeking an IT Support Technician to deliver essential day-to-day IT support across our nationwide branches. This role is crucial for troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, managing relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring seamless IT operations to achieve our business goals.Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop support issues related to hardware and software.
- Install and configure software, hardware, PCs, and laptops.
- Conduct regular system backups and maintenance.
- Accurately document tasks and solutions.
- Provide remote management and support.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
- Offer first-line support for common queries.
- Update and maintain the company website with product information and industry news.
- Develop and oversee the reporting application used by management.
Experience:
- Experience with server software installation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and user/role management in a domain environment.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Technical expertise in IT infrastructures.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing PCs and printers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Skills:
- IT-related degree or diploma.
- Familiarity with web development platforms and programming languages.
- Matric certificate
