Job description: Job SummaryA leading food company situated in Cape Town is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Electrician to join their team.The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for:
- Repairs and preventative maintenance on fast moving production equipment.
- Fault Finding.
- Breakdowns.
- Point to point checks on control and power systems.
- Read and correctly interpret electrical diagrams.
- Assist the department manager with ad-hoc duties.
Key requirements:
- Trade Tested Electrician
- A minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience with strong leadership skills and good work ethic, must be willing to work overtime and standby.
- Must have manufacturing experience.
- Planning of maintenance tasks and breakdowns.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Computer literacy.
- A knowledge of Sage will be advantageous.
