Job description: Job Summary The incumbent will be responsible for Developing and implementing health and safety procedures in the workplace. Ensuring an organisation meets the requirements of health and safety compliance. Carrying out safety inspections and risk assessments. SKILLS PROFILE EDUCATION • Grade 12 or qualification equivalent to NQF level 4 • OHS Qualification essential. • Health Care experience would be advantageous • Computer Literacy essential. • SAP Knowledge would an added advantage WORK EXPERIENCE • Relevant experience in the Occupational Health & Safety • Capacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation KNOWLEDGE • Developing and implementing health and safety procedures in the workplace • Ensuring an organization meets the requirements of health and safety compliance • Carrying out safety inspections and risk assessments • If an accident occurs in the workplace, the responsibility falls to the OHSP to investigate the incident, and adjust future policies accordingly • Improve internal processes and systems through relevant training • Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time • Analyse an organisation’s strategy to ensure alignment with facilities management best practice • Update facilities policies and processes to align with industry standards and legislation • Implement strategies for balancing maintenance and upgrades to the working environment.
Expected salary: R18000 per month
