Market RelatedWe are seeking a dedicated Lecturer to facilitate and oversee academic delivery for our Higher Certificate in Total Quality Management and Higher Certificate in Office Management programmes. This is an office-based role that provides comprehensive academic support to distance learning students.Minimum Requirements:
- Honours Degree in Supply Chain Management, Office Management, or Business Management.
- Prior teaching experience in distance or higher education is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles and office administration.
- Proficiency with learning management systems (e.g., Moodle) and digital teaching tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Distance Learning: Deliver engaging and high-quality online lectures and webinars. Provide academic support across digital platforms, monitor student engagement, and foster collaboration in a virtual learning environment.
- Student Support: Serve as the primary academic mentor by addressing student queries, providing constructive feedback, and implementing intervention strategies for at-risk students.
- Content Development: Develop, review, and adapt course materials to align with industry standards and cater to a diverse student base.
- Assessment and Moderation: Design and grade assessments, projects, and exams while ensuring fairness through moderation processes.
- Institutional Engagement: Participate in programme reviews, quality assurance initiatives, faculty meetings, and ongoing professional development to remain current with trends in distance learning.
Expected salary: R25000 per month
