Educational Qualifications:
- A BSc or BEng in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering. (Please note that BTech, BEng Tech, or Advanced Diploma qualifications will not be considered for this role.)

- Applicants must be residing in or willing to relocate to Cape Town.

Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will be entrusted with significant responsibilities from overseeing cutting-edge projects to coordinating complex engineering tasks. Your key duties include:

New Technology Installations:
Taking charge of installations of advanced multi-million rand machinery and technologies at various sites. -
Project Management:
Overseeing assigned engineering and technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring all deliverables meet the stipulated standards and customer expectations. -
Customer Satisfaction:
Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient project management and communication. -
Project Scheduling and Coordination:
Developing comprehensive project schedules and forecasts to drive project milestones. Coordinating engineering deliverables and regularly reporting on project status and change orders. -
Technical Contribution:
Assisting in the preparation and modification of engineering project proposals, specifications, plans, and designs. -
Risk Management:
Conducting environmental impact studies, obtaining necessary permits, and effectively managing associated risks. -
Project Implementation:
Implementing successful engineering projects, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and client expectations. -
Client Communication:
Communicating extensively with project clients, handling inquiries, and liaising effectively with both overseas and local suppliers. - Commissioning Projects:
Taking ownership of commissioning processes and ensuring the smooth running of the machines and plants related to assigned projects.
